Its been a while......a VERY long while.

Its funny, when I worked I blogged constantly. Now that I'm home I never do. Just goes to show you how much free time I had at work and how crazy busy I am at home!

Did I ever tell you how much I love being home? I know, who wouldn't love not working right? Actually when I worked I felt so bored all day, now I actually feel like I'm doing something. Its awesome.

So onto why I'm really here......."The girls" (as I have affectionately dubbed them)

They are awesome.

They make me crazy, but they are awesome.

They are 3 1/2 now and they crack me up. Finley is the most opinionated child I have EVER met. It took me a long time to realize I'm not going to win with her. Now I let her make the rules and were good. She picks her own clothes, shoes, hair accessories.......basically everything. If you ever tried to make a decision for her you better believe she'll go the opposite of what you wanted. I love that kid, man she's a little spunky version of myself and as much as she annoys me I know she'll go places in life with her attitude. I can see her as defense attorney in 25 years. And no guy is going to stand a chance with her that's for sure! She's still a peanut, or a "teeny tiny" as she calls herself. She has the smallest waist I have ever seen. She could seriously still fit 12m waisted clothes, most 24m stuff barely fits her, unless it has an adjustable waist. She weighs a whole 26 1/2 lbs and is about 36" tall. Her hair is a little darker than Gillians now and while she was sporting bangs for a while, I have started doing the side bang on her and I like it better. She can spell her name out loud and can write it all except her "e" is always upside down, and she knows it but can't figure out how to do it correctly. It makes her nuts. She can finally say her name. I'm not going to lie, I cried the day she pronounced it right. "Sinley" is a thing of the past, now she is Finley Hope Gray! She finished up her first year of dance a couple months ago and loved it and is starting cheerleading in a couple of weeks.

Gillian always used to be my sweetie, but even she's getting some major attitude lately. I knew it was only a matter of time but nothing could have prepared me for her back talking me. A few weeks ago she was blowing a whistle or something in the back seat while I was driving, after about 10 minutes I asked her to stop but she kept on going. I finally said "Gillian if you don't stop blowing that thing I'm going to chuck it out the window" she quickly responded "Mom, if you don't stop I'm going to chuck YOU out the window." And there was silence, just Gary and I looking at each other trying not to crack up, because honestly what else can you do but laugh at that? She weighs about 30lbs now and has more of a platinum blonde color to her hair than Finn and like Finley is wearing a side bang now.  She loved dance too but seemed a little bored at times, she came out at least a once a class to "use the bathroom", but I think she was either bored or missed me. We're going to do it again this year so we'll see how it goes. She's going to do cheerleading too. Should be interesting is all I can say!
